The Product Development Intern will assist members of the Formulation Development team in a laboratory setting. This role will provide an opportunity to develop a strong foundation of laboratory skills, build knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, and gain exposure in a laboratory setting.
The Technical Operations Intern will assist in several key processes assist the technical operations team including but not limited to batch record data review, purchasing and forecasting, and human factors testing. The Marketing Manager will play a key role in leading execution of the brand strategy and plan for the rare disease neurology brand. Focused on the development and execution of HCP and patient initiatives, this role will regularly work cross-functionally with sales, market access, commercial operations, medical affairs, regulatory, legal, and other functions to achieve brand and company objectives. Responsibilities will span the marketing mix including personal, nonpersonal and live events, ensuring target market engagement and optimal growth for the brand.

This position will support external operations at multiple Contract Organizations (CMOs, CDMOs) associated with Xeris commercial and pipeline products and activities. This includes on-site person-in-plant oversight of manufacturing activities during technology transfers, process scale-up, process validations, and other manufacturing operations. Provide CMC knowledge and technical support regarding the company’s due diligence and regulatory submission documents. Leverage technical skills (chemistry/engineering, GMP regulation, risk evaluations, drug development), business skills (project management, finance), and soft skills (vendor engagement, relationship building) to provide strategic input for program core teams and budgets. Proactively collaborate with other Technical Operations functional areas regarding relevant cross-functional activities on a routine basis, e.g., Product Development, Supply Chain, Logistics, Packaging, Device, CMC, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Regulatory. Manage and track departmental schedules to meet operational targets.Proactively support the generation and protection of the company’s intellectual property and maintain awareness of current industry trends and practices.
This position is responsible for the development of analytical tests and characterization methods for pharmaceutical formulation, process, and specification development. The Scientist II, Analytical Development will work with formulation scientists seeking to develop various therapeutic drug formulations incorporating XeriSol and XeriJect technologies. The Scientist II, Analytical Development will also support Quality Control and CMC with respect to establishing product specifications, stability programs, material qualification, method validation and process validation.
This role will assist more senior Formulation Scientists to develop stable therapeutic pharmaceutical formulations. This position will work under general supervision as needed to support technical assignments. At times, may train or provide guidance to less experienced staff. This role will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized laboratory and ensuring that instruments are calibrated and functioning properly. The Scientist I, Formulation Development will proactively monitor ongoing studies and tasks to propose alternatives or solutions in response to unanticipated data and results.

This position will support these teams on recruitment, performance management and development, employee relations, workforce planning, onboarding and offboarding activities, and interpretation and adherence to company policies. The incumbent will collaborate closely with other HR team members to ensure alignment across the Company.
