Overview

The Manager, Investor Relations will play a pivotal role in supporting the execution of the Company’s investor engagement strategy. This individual will be responsible for coordinating communication between the Company’s management, current shareholders, and potential investors, utilizing exceptional financial, analytical and communication skills. This role will involve providing actionable insights and analysis to enhance our financial communication and transparency and our position in the marketplace. This is a highly collaborative role in nature, working across functions such as legal, finance and marketing to optimize our presence externally.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and distributing investor presentations, press releases, earnings reports and other IR materials.
  • Draft key messaging for investor materials, including FAQ documents, fact sheets, and other corporate disclosures.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and shareholder response to proactively address concerns and opportunities.
  • Maintain and update the investor relations database.
  • Develop and manage dashboards and reports to provide visibility into IR activities and investor sentiment.
  • Assist in managing the annual investor relations calendar, including the agenda for participation in investor conferences, non-deal roadshows and other events.
  • Deliver insights to senior management on current market events and trends that may impact the company’s stock performance.
  • Analyze research reports from various organizations concerning their perception on the company, industry and competitors and present findings to senior management. 
  • Assist with regular communication with investors, analysts, and the media to provide accurate information regarding company performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as legal, finance, marketing, etc to ensure consistent and accurate messaging.
  • Manage other projects/activities as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in investor relations, equity research, or related field at a public company or agency within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in a company that has experienced fast growth organically and inorganically through M&A
  • Expert proficiency in financial research tools such as FactSet, Bloomberg, CapIQ, etc
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with investors and analysts
  • Strong financial analysis, modeling and reporting skills
  • Familiarity with capital markets and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Expert level skills in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Working Conditions: May require periodic evening and/or weekend activity to meet company deadlines and/or satisfy peak project workloads. Periodic overnight travel. This is a hybrid role based in Xeris’ Chicago office and requires a minimum of three days per week in the office. On-site requirement may change at management’s discretion.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $160,000. Final determination of base salary offered will depend on several factors relevant to the position, including but not limited to candidate skills, experience, education, market location, and business need. This role will include eligibility for bonus and equity. The total compensation package will also include additional elements such as multiple paid time off benefits, various health insurance options, retirement benefits and more. Details about these and other offerings will be provided at the time a conditional offer of employment is made.
