Overview

This position will be responsible for helping develop analytical solutions to complex challenges.  Working within the Commercial Operations team, the data analyst intern will help in gathering requirements, creating analytics, and presenting findings that enable impactful decision making across all aspects of the organization.  This paid internship will be on-site 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in cross-functional projects using data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and highlight opportunities.
  • As part of a team, build, develop, and maintain data models, reports, dashboards that support key business decisions.
  • Help Commercial Operations in informing and influencing decision making by organizing and presenting analysis findings to the team and stakeholders within the organization.
  • Continuously monitor and identify trends in data to ensure data accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Assist in ad hoc projects and assignments as needed.

Qualifications

  • Working towards or completion of Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with data analysis tools, such as Excel, SQL, Python, R.
  • Familiarity with data management and manipulation. 
  • Understanding of data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Domo.
  • Ability to leverage MS tools for analysis and presentation.
  • Skills preferred (as applicable):
  • Work experience or course work in extracting data, applying a variety of business analytics and statistical analytics techniques, and synthesizing information into business intelligence reports/dashboards
