Overview

The Social Media Intern is responsible for assisting Xeris’ Social Media Manager with the development and execution of Xeris’ day-to-day social media presence for the Xeris corporate and commercial product portfolio. The Social Media Intern will also assist with the planning and execution of Xeris’ influencer advisory board event, which will be held at the end of July, 2024. Day-to-day tasks may include, but are not limited to, content creation and scheduling, monitoring comments and direct messages, and submitting social media posts for review, as well as seeing those posts through to MLR Review and Approval for posting. This paid internship will be on-site 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Help develop and manage content calendars and assets for social media in conjunction with the company’s larger overall integrated content planning and marketing efforts.
  • Monitor organic and influencer posts for potential adverse events, product complaints, and medical inquiries and report to Xeris’ Social Media Manager if such content is discovered.
  • Utilize Canva and/or the Adobe Creative Suite to create breakthrough social media content in the highly regulated pharmaceutical space.
  • Help manage cross-departmental projects from inception through finished product, including rounds of approval.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of Xeris’ influencer advisory board event to take place in late July 2024.
  • Schedule social media posts using Hootsuite as reviewed and approved by Social Media Manager
  • Proofread social media content and link the appropriate claims to references before submission for review.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a college or university or have completed a bachelor’s degree.
  • Social media experience is required. Graphic design experience is preferred.
